Day 2 : Srinagar
Day 01 : March 2024 Route : Arrival – Srinagar Distance : 12 Kilometers Time Taken : 35 – 45 Minutes approx. Pickup at Srinagar Airpor and transfer to Srinagar Hotel for 02 nights. Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. Situated at an altitude of 1,730 meters, lies in the Kashmir valley on the banks of the river Jhelum a tributary of the Indus, and Dal Lake. Dal, with a total area of 29 square km is home to thousands of Shikara, a type of colorful boat usually hired by tourists, and home to more than 1000 houseboats built with deodar & walnut wood. The city is famous for its Mughal gardens and waterfronts. It is also known for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts and dried fruits. Kashmir is known for its charming beauty. It is surrounded by three mountain ranges of the Himalayas- Karakoram, Zanaskar and Pir Panjal, running from northwest to northeast. Overnight stay at Hotel in Srinagar.
Day 2 : Srinagar
Day 02 : March 2024 Route : Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar Distance : 55 Kilometer Time Taken : 01 – 02 Hours approx. After breakfast leave for Gulmarg for full day trip.Gulmarg (8700 ft. i.e. 2652 mts), known as ‘Meadow of flowers. Discovered by the Kashmiri romantic poet in the 16th century who was inspired with its grassy slopes covered with wild flowers. It is one of the India’s premier Hill resorts. Gulmarg today is not merely a mountain resort of exceptional beauty – It also turns into India’s premier Ski resort in winter. The Gondola Cable Car offers rides to the upland meadows of Kongdori and beyond to the top of Affarwat range to a height of 14000 ft. for viewing the Himalayan Peaks in summer and for downhill skiing in winter.
Day 2 : Pahalgam
Day 03 : March 2024 Route : Srinagar – Pahalgam Distance : 103 Kilometer Time Taken : 02 – 03 Hours approx. After breakfast transfer from Srinagar to Pahalgam for 01 night stay. Pahalgam (2133 mts) also known as ‘The valley of Shepherds or Trekker’s Paradise. Pahalgam is the most famous place for Indian Film Industry. On the way visit Awantipura ruins, Saffron fields One of the most beautiful places on earth, the town of Pahalgam offers breath-taking views. One can just enjoy the town of Pahalgam trek to some of the most beautiful places on earth. One can trek to Lidderwat, Kolahai Glacier or to Sonamarg. Pahalgam is also the entry point for the famous Amaranth Cave, a holy site for Hindus. Overnight stay at Hotel in Pahalgam.
Day 2 : Srinagar
Day 04 : March 2024 Route : Pahalgam – Srinagar– Local Sightseeing Distance : 103 Kilometers Time Taken : 01 – 02 Hours approx. After Breakfast check out from Pahalgam hotel and proceed towards Srinagar for 01 night stay after reaching Srinagar gor for Srinagar local Sightseeing.Visit famous Mughal Garden, Nishat Garden known as ‘Garden of pleasure’ built in 16th century (1633) by Mughal King Asif Khan. Then visit to Shalimar Garden known as ‘Garden of love’ built in 16th century (1619) by Mughal King Jahangir for his beloved wife Noor Jahan or (Mehr-un-Nissa). After that visit to Chashmashahi. The Chashmashahi Mughal gardens in Srinagar have been loved by emperors and picnickers alike. After Mughal Garden trip visit to White Mosque, & Shankar Acharya Temple. Overnight stay at Hotel in Srinagar.
Day 2 : Srinagar
Day 05 : March 2024 Route : Srinagar – Sonamarg – Srinagar Distance : 85 Kilometer Time Taken : 2 – 3 Hours approx. After breakfast full day excursion to Sonamarg (2740 meters) also known as ‘The Meadow of Gold’ or The Gateway of Ladakh’ Sonamarg is 84 Kms from Srinagar and is surrounded by colorful mountains and thick Pine forests. Thajiwas Glacier is 3 Kms in the south of Sonamarg. Slopes and meadows are sparkled with the loveliest of alpine flowers, while the rich forests of fir, sycamore and birch at their lush green beauty to the scene. Along with the Pahalgam, Sonamarg is an excellent takeoff point for treks into the mountains and in itself is an ideal camping ground where glaciers pour down from the Himalayas. Sonamarg is also the entry point for the famous Amaranth Cave, a holy site for Hindus via Baltal Valley. In the evening return back to Srinagar. Overnight stay at Houseboat in Srinagar.
Day 2 : Srinagar
Day 06 : March 2024 Route : Srinagar – Airport Departure Distance : 12 Kilometer Time Taken : 35 Minutes – 45 Minutes approx. After breakfast transfer from Srinagar hotel to Srinagar Airport for onward destination with Sweet holiday Memories.
